2015 In Review: 2x4 DESIGNS, Residential Design by Cory Thompson

As 2015 comes to a close it's a good feeling to look back on a productive year and to begin thinking about whats to come in 2016.  

I would like to thank all my clients for the opportunity to help them bring their dreams and ideas to life.  

2015 has been a good year, lets see what 2016 has to come!

Architectural field trip to Los Angeles to visit Case Study House #22 in Los Angeles Ca.  Also visited but not pictured; Frank Lloyd Wright's Holly Hock House, The home of Charles and Wray Eames, and the Schindler House.

 

 

 

 

Completed the design for a Contempary Beach home to the begin construciton in early 2016.

Modern Beach Home by Cory Thompson

Design is underway on our most recent home.   A custom modern beach house north of Wilmington, NC.  Here are renderings for the first 2 options.

1970's Ranch Home Remodel | Southport, NC by Cory Thompson

This is an exciting complete remodel to a dated 70's ranch home.
Project consist of:

  • opening up main living areas for an open floor plan concept
  • updating all finishes
  • relocate kitchen 
  • basement conversion to apartment suite with new entry at rear of house. 
  • completely redesigned master bath with open tile shower and freestanding tub.
